Blast furnace
Pellet swelling, which occurs simultaneously with reduction reactions, has been widely studied because it is common during blast furnace operation. A tube furnace equipped with a camera recording system was used to study the dynamic and isothermal reduction swelling behaviour of olivine and acid pellets under simulated BF shaft conditions.
